Allow me to rewind to what happened last night during dinner.
I was talking with Alan and then suddenly.. ding!... A button mysteriously appeared and hit the tiles. A and I observed it and was discussing where it could've came from. A kept saying that it was from my jumper, since it was of the same colour and god dammit it took me 15 minutes to convince him that I know my jumpers and none of them have a button. In the end, we couldn't come to a conclusion so I just picked it up and left it at the dinner table.
Okay, now this morning, I realised that it came off my ugg boots. It has taken me over 12 hours to realise this because I don't observe my ugg boots. Predominantly because they were bought as a hurried replacement after mom took my slippers the last time she visited.
My mind then wandered off into thinking.. what if that was a cursed button thrown down by a witch hiding in my closet. A witch from L4D2 (thought they're not capable of cursing things) or maybe I accidentally offended some old lady at the shops yesterday.
Sounds familiar? Yes, of course. Though I have not watched the movie, I'm fairly familiar with the plot of 'Drag Me To Hell'. Since I'm not in the mood for anything too scary at this present moment, a photograph taken several years ago should suffice.

If that button was cursed... what would I have done?
You see, in a few films (well.. okay majority), the protagonist keeps the button to him/herself.. and prevents their family and friends from falling into a never ending cycle of curses.. For example, wasn't there a grandpa in The Ring who sacrificed his life so that the tape wouldn't be passed around?
Well, sad to say.. I am no grandpa. By that, I don't mean my physical appearance... but the ability to sacrifice my own life just so I could get rid of a curse? No way! I'd call up a friend to meet up and shove it in their pocket ASAP!
Perhaps I should run down to my local church and pass it to the priest.
Maybe I'll put it in the mailbox of someone I despise.
Blackmailing my friends to do things for me with this cursed button would be fun too.
Many of you may think... "Yeah right, she's just saying this..." but if you asked my closer friends, they'd probably shrug and say "Well, that's Jackie."
On a somewhat creepy note, I have been very distracted by this figure on the reflection of my screen. Feel free to click on it to enlarge. Doesn't it look like some hooded white figure? GRIM REAPER PERHAPS? Well I posted this blog on the 16/07/2011, so if something happens to me in this upcoming week... Please take this grim reaper figure to court HAHA

Now to finish off with a happy note..

It's sooo adorable! I couldn't be bothered resizing this photo so it's in HD.
Okay, I'm going to have my dose of retail therapy today.
Enjoy the last week of your holidays!
